Perhaps, but had the Saints made a crucial 3rd down stop they would have been in the Super Bowl.

This shite drives me nuts. IF the Saints would have just said F*ck the rules, jumped the snap count and destroyed Zuerline before he made the FG to tie it at 23 they would have been in the SB then too huh?

The Saints did make a crucial 3rd down stop on the Rams in the 4th quarter.

On 4th down a magical timeout was granted negating the third down play. No camera evidence in the game shows a Rams player or coach signalling timeout.

The extra 3rd down kept the drive alive and the Rams scored to tie the game.

On the previous drive the Saints had a holding penalty negate a first down in Rams territory. The Saints were driving to extend the lead.

Too many referee aided opportunities were given to the Rams.

This is not just the one no call.

In OT, Brees was hit in the face while his intended WR was held resulting in a game ending interception.

If the calls are made, the Saints win the game with a probable walk off touchdown in OT.

Your one play does not stand up to the numerous chances the refs removed from the Saints to win the game.

True dat. I don't care if LSU wins 100 Nat'l Championships, I will never forget the screw job in 2006 at Auburn. If the Saints win the SB every year, I'll never forget 2019.
