Dion Jordan makes a shitload of sense now. He's more likely to be there as of now than Mingo, although that could change after workouts.

Brinkley is our NT brah. That's what he was in Denver. Dude is huge

Again, he was a 1 tech DT in a 4-3, not a 0 tech in a 3-4. He was only responsible for one running lane in that position. A 3-4 NT is responsible for two gaps (between the center and each guard). I'm not saying that he definitely will be ineffective, but it will be a new position for him and he will be one of the smallest in the NFL.

I will definitely pass on Mingo. Would love to get Jones though.

I know it's early and mocks are wrong a lot, but every single one has Mingo and Jones going earlier than 15.

you wouldn't believe it's like a whole month of scouting down the drain almost

Bunkley definitely NOT cuttable with his contract

Before the draft we can start looking at which free agents might now be on the radar that were not previously. Maybe get to some of that soon.

prolly could but 3-4 DEs don't command 1st half of the 1st Rd draft status. He looks more 4-3ish fo sho to me. Drastically lowering his fit here myself.

Damontre Moore, Jordan, and Mingo will be primary targets now IMO. Jarvis Jones too but I count him as definitely gone by #15.

Maybe Bunkley has been trying to keep his weight down for the 4-3? Just seems like a guy that big could put on some lbs if he wanted to. Plus he's the most ripped up 300 lbs man I've seen, so he has room to pack on the weight.

The thing I like about the switch is that we have several players that will fit great in a 3-4: Hicks, Cam Jordan (especially him), Martez Wilson, Junior Galette, Lofton, Hawthorne.

All of those guys are suited for a 3-4. We really don't have THAT much to do. As far as starters, we need to get another (and better) Rush OLB, and NT/DE depends on what you think of Bunk's fit there, or Hick's fit there. The rest is filling up depth, IMO.

Bunkley imo is a perfect fit for NT. Im excited about Hawthorne and Lofton playing ILB together now. Honestly, with first pick now I wouldnt mind us picking a LT and assuming we keep Bushrod, move him to RT. Also, ILBs in a 3-4 need to be thumpers which Lofton is. There was an article I remember reading when we got Hawthorne saying from a teammate he was the hardest hitter on the Seahawks D.
