With the National Exposure the Saints are having now and have had all year
Will the Louisiana Superdome ever have any naming rights associated with the dome?
Do the city and state every get a deal done?

Something will probably get worked out after this season.
It is not like La has that many companies that want to spend that kind of money(see the sponser of the PGA tourney for the last five years or so) and it is not like the economy has been that great for the last two years.

Personally, I hate when stadiums are named after corporate sponsors. It'll always be "The Superdome" to the Who Dat Nation.

I don't think they'll ever sell the naming rights, but if they do, I'd like Tobasco to buy.

I think a big problem is the Louisiana Superdome has had so many important and memorable events there and etched its name in the media. It will always be known the Superdome. Locals will refuse to call it the Boh Bros dome or whatever its name would be and companies see this so they think its too risky.

I believe they tried a few years back with no success. If they do sell the rights, my guess is they will probably keep "superdome" in the name... i.e. the XXXXXXX Superdome.
