He's the one in the middle.

And perhaps Joel Smeenge.

It's very taxing to come up with the 'randomest' Saint after thinking about it. BTW.

Guido Merkens, Mister Do Evereything. He punted, held for field goals, QBed, Pleyed Wr, and covered on punts and kickoffs.

some good ones, Tom McNeil the most obscure even for oldtimers IMO... I'll raise you a Julian Fagan.

Some of those who were just camp bodies are kinda a different category to me

There sure have been some colorful names. A while back we did an All Best Names Alltime Team. Not a lot of frachises can boast of Jubilees, Onos, Ironheads, Guidos, D'atagans, etc etc

I'll just go back with some others with good names...

Charlie Durkee
I always thought he must have came from the Durkee hot sauce family

Happy Feller

Elois Grooms

Tinker Owens
mean sounding

Jumpy Geathers
how could he question an offsides call?

LB Whitney Paul.

Didn't he give up the yards that gave Walter Payton the at-the-time career rushing record?

Edit: Yes, he was. Watch #51 at the 1;13 mark
