As if the NFL did not have enough money. Now they want you to fork up money to watch the playoffs. Yeah this idea is not going well for the NFL on social media. Frick Goodell.

The NFL literally doesn't care. The check from NBC for 100+ million for ONE game is signed, sealed, and delivered.

If you don't watch it, someone else will likely try their shot to the tune of 120m+. If you do watch it, NBC will try it again next year with 2 games for 250m.

This will have to be the lowest watched playoff game ever?

Who would pay money to watch this one game? Crazy

Use a “third party” stream for the win-win. You get to watch, they don’t get the ratings.

Used to pay $40 to watch a game on Tiger Vision against Slapstick U. It costs $15 for a ticket to an hour and a half movie.
The answer is millions of people will be paying $5 for this game and a month of Peacock (which is a pretty solid streaming app).

Peacock actually is good value for a streaming service. It's only 6 bucks and has a decent library. If you're a wrestling fan from days gone by, it's definitely worth the price. If you like the Premier League it's worth the price.
The only drawback is they don't offer 4k UHD.

I say pay the 6 bucks, watch the game, and if you don't like it, cancel the next day. Or you can cry and whine and pout on the message boards.

It's worth it for The Office and Parks and Rec alone. Best streaming service at that price point IMO.
