At first I was pissed but ultimately I’m ok with KM picking the qb he wants. He made his bed. He will be judged based on the results.
12.8% hit rate on day 2 quarterbacks. If Shough turns into a “miss” it probably means we had 2-3 years of losing football. KM won’t survive that.

after the Shough pick. Some strong emotions over the pick.

Man, not only is this not the worst Saints team to ever take the field, this is not even the worst QB room in Saints history, and I’m saying that under the assumption that Carr is not going to play for us anymore.
The level of panic of some Saints fans over this pick is embarrassing. The funny thing is if the team had picked another project DE with an injury history at 40 that no one had ever heard of before, from a small college… half of Shough’s critics would be fine with that.
Worst case scenario, Shough doesn’t work out. So what? Plenty of 2nd rounders haven’t. Just like any other player in the NFL, they are easily replaced.
Second round draft picks are a naturally recurring resource.

quote:ACC harder than the NFL?? Cause he was trash in college.
If he becomes a good QB, will they stay away or crawl their bitch asses back and claim to be die hard?

Don’t give a shite if he was garbage in college. If you leave being a Saints fan because of a pick, you were never a die hard, you were a bitch arse fan.
I didn’t like the pick, btw, but I’ll support and cheer his arse on because he plays for the Saints.

This all day. I don't like the pick, but I will hope it works out instead of claiming doom and gloom.
