MT13’s injury is AT Perry’s opportunity.

Everything I saw from him in preseason looked like it would easily translate to real games and the Saints badly need some size at WR. I hate Thomas’ career has been derailed by injuries and I know he was really hurt when he was out. I had surgery on my ankle and the metal in my ankle didn’t take. Painful as shite and there’s no way he could run, much less stop, cut, etc. He will get a one year deal next season from a team, very likely Denver. Perry is going to get a lot of snaps now, it’s up to him to make good of it but I like his chances.

Not hard to see Perry will have issues catching the ball. Hopefully it’s just a confidence issue at this point.

Hopefully Perry gets a chance to grow and they don't cast him aside for Calloway because Calloway is familiar to them.

Definitely not a fluid or natural catcher of the ball. It’s not really coachable and for that reason AT is going to be limited on his development. There’s a reason he was available in the 5th with his size and speed.
