MT13 with that chip back is scary for everyone else

The thing I’m most excited about this year is seeing the MT13 comeback. He’s always played with a chip on his shoulder but you would have to think it will never be bigger than this year. He’s been getting shite on by fans for two years now. Including a lot of saints fans in that. When you see top 10 receiver lists he’s not in any of them(which is understandable since he hasn’t played).
I have a feeling he’s going to be out to prove something again this year. And that’s going to be scary for opposing corners.

He’s hell when he’s well, but when was the last time he was well?

I hope you’re right
His mindset changed ever since he got paid IMO

Or, a combination of his post big paycheck attitude and too much time away from the field will lead him to not care and he won't ever have another great season again.

I mean he had a historic year after he got paid. So that doesnt really match up

I thought he was retired

Yay, lots of 7 yard slants and curl ins...

No offense but that is just plain stupid. In July 2019 he signed his contract extension and then went out and caught 140 passes. Then he allowed the team to restructure his contract in 2021 allowing them to free up cap space for the team.

I don’t think he has a chip. He’s living large, paid fairly and well rested. While he has something to prove on the field-that he is still a top receiver-he has no reason to feel slighted. He got hurt, got paid, and was on some great teams with a strong locker room. Hope he’s back but he’s still just a possession receiver.

If he was in any other team he would be dubbed as the biggest fricking diva and a bitch. But since he’s a saint y’all protect the ever living shite out of him.

If you were on any other fan board they would have dumped you long ago.

I’ve never labeled anybody a diva for dealing with an injury. Especially considering he tried to play through it to get the greatest player in franchise history another ring. Which only set us back further. But I appreciate him trying.
He had a historic year the year after he got paid. People who say that idiotic narrative about him not caring since he got paid show us just how little they actually keep up with the saints.

For me, the question is whether or not we can get the ball to him where he’s back near his old volume.

Lol he’s nowhere close to a diva wr in the sense of the word. I’ll label you retarded though
Posted on 6/8/22 at 5:09 pm to BobBoucher
Well I don’t think we will need him to produce anywhere near the volume he did before. Most likely he’s going to command a double team. Winston has to really get his short range throws down though. He has a tendency to put them high. If Winston can find success on the short passing game this offense will be unstoppable.

What set us back was his inability to answer his phone and get the surgery when he was supposed to.

What you said is factually wrong about his mentality. There is alot to call Thomas out for but that aint one of them.
You were just flat out wrong on that

I'd say setting the new Nfl record for receptions (149) in a season is earning a paycheck.

Then allowing the team to renegotiate his contract in order to help them with the salary cap is the act of a fricking diva and a bitch?
These are Pearls of wisdom you are giving us. Please keep them coming.
