Dave Waymer played in 197 games in the NFL. Had 48 career interceptions.
Interesting fact about Waymer. He played some WR for ND in ‘77. He caught 11 passes including a TD from… Joe Montana.
In the NFL he played against Montana twice a year as a CB and intercepted Montana.
ETA: Waymer died at 34. Didn’t realize he was that young when he passed. Cocaine-induced heart attack.

Andy Tanner
Marques Colston. Never hear a peep from or about him despite being a great WR for us and a massive part of the Super Bowl season. Dude just went to work and stayed quiet, earning his nickname.

Surprised no one has mentioned Boo Williams! I thought he was developing nicely in 03 and 04 and then Sean didn't bring him back.
Another that comes to mind because he was overshadowed, but he was my favorite member of the Dome Patrol, Pat Swilling. He always seemed to play second fiddle to Rickey Jackson even though he won DPOY with 17 sacks one year. He was the first member to go in a trade with Detroit.

Joe Scarpati. The holder on Tom Dempsey's epic 63 yard field goal
Jackie Burkett who snapped the ball on that play.

I remeber Wattlet.
Honestly, Waymer is the guy nobody talks about who was a really good player on some really bad teams. He did get a few good teams in the end though. Sad how he died.
AlsoTom Myers. Another who was really good on some awful teams. The two all-time interception leaders. Both played 10 years for the Saints
