Depends...

If im the only one my boss is picking on while others are also poking the bear... yea, im petty enough to egg it on.

I get it... but all i really want is for the league to govern equally. Jerry Jones took so many swipes at goodell. I think he even threatened to take his job at one point. He just didnt have the backing to do it

Thats the most infuriating part.

You also saw it with the covid stuff... every team went maskless celebrating but 1 team was continually punished for it.

Im not saying we shouldnt have been held accountable...just that everyone else should be too

Get ready for Saints to be least flagged team this year. Denver will be the most flagged.
Thanks CSP!

Sure did seem like we had a few phantom calls against us in that Vikings game over in London last year.

Or I'm just misremembering.
I was at the game and had several UK folks sitting nearby.

I remember several calls where I had to explain to them what the infraction was but it was not apparent or was a ticky-tack call.

Mostly against the Saints but I seem to also remember what looked like a bad call against the Vikings.

With only a Jumbotron for replays, it’s hard to see if you miss it life action.

I agree with you.

But the owners of the league are Goodells boss

We have an owner in the league

None of the other owners had our back

Well I will say this probably falls under the old mantra that "you could call holding on every play".

I dont think you understand the data that the OP shared

I understand what it was saying...What I'm saying is that the refs can throw a flag on every play, so they can be selective and pop you whenever they want.

The league didn’t have it out for the saints. They have it out for Sean.

I think that's true. Will be interesting to see if the new Denver owners have more pull than the Bensons do.

Agree, ever since he called that reverse to Reggie against the Falcons the very first play on MNF after calling it the previous game and caused a loss.
It was his message to the fans. Didn't like him since that time and glad he is gone and someone else's idiot.

This has been covered before but I am waiting for a tell all book from Payton on the feud between he and Goodell.
Something must have really went sideways between the two especially after the Super Bowl victory.

Or maybe it was just a warning shot. A message to the league office and the officials that if the trend from Payton’s last four years with the Saints carries over to the Broncos, Payton will call it out. And the league, in an era of legalized gambling, will have a huge mess on its hands if the numbers suddenly show that the Broncos benefit from the least fouls called against their opponents of all or most other teams.

Payton's true reason for leaving New Orleans.

Nice to be justified in bitching about the refs all these years.

This is much bigger than the Saints. It means the entire NFL game has no integrity and it can be proven.

A motivated attorney could ruffle some feathers.
