Their reasoning: we need defense but this is a defense heavy draft. If McCaffrey is available at 11, you take him to go with this offense.

What irritates me is that they (should) know our biggest weakness is defense and it would make sense to take almost any position except DT yet they have us taking a RB. I like mccaffery but I'm not taking any RB, including LF7 unless it's at 32 (pushing it) in the first round and that's only if the right guy falls there. The mantra for years is don't take a RB in the top rounds and I still wish we never drafted Ingram so high.
