Mismatches from hell. How do you defend this?

The three WR set is about to get really nasty. With Smith in the slot and Watson at TE, what do you do when Kamara is in the backfield? As a D coordinator do you run a nickel or a dime! With this line, you are gonna get skull dragged in runs. Do you play a 34/43? That means Kamara has a LBer on him or you have single coverage across the board.

It gets even nastier with Ingram. You almost have to run a 34/43 to key in on the run. Ingram on screens is still an option, but on the slants to Smith, Dez, and MT13 oh my!

This is an absolute nightmare if Dez can perform as he has in the past.

I'm not sure. But for a team that's already hard to defend this could be a superbowl type move.

Not sure we have any evidence the past 2-3 seasons to think there's much of any chance this happens, but I sure hope it does.

I don't think we've moved the needle much at all with this signing, but it's worth the risk.

So defenses are going to just ignore Dez because espn says he’s washed up?

Drew Brees pitches back to Taysom Hill and Hill throws a 75 yard bomb to Dez.

We’re trying to move the needle from our 2nd WR, which has 214 yards this year. Needle moved.

Hey, my nephew is having a birthday party later this month.

You're not gonna come and throw water on it, are you?

this is facing rolling coverage for the majority of the season, with Dak as his QB...

Seems like a bad idea, I imagine he can still catch a pass and run if no one is guarding him.

He turned down several deals, one of them a 3/30m from Baltimore.

So, do we want this message board to give honest opinions, or just blindly think every move the Saints make is the best thing ever?

Because the latter sounds like a recipe for one shitty message board, wouldn't you agree?

We've had multiple guys in that role, so i'm not sure 214 is a fair representation.

96 targets and almost 900 yards isn't exactly good, fwiw.

ETA: Sorry, it was 132 targets.

Yea and with no other decent WRs on the field. He was routinely double covered. There simply aren't enough players on the field to double cover everyone that needs to be double covered.
