I’m sure he’s been praised in other threads, but I feel he deserves his own thread. All of the talk is on the run game and defense, and rightfully so, but Mike has quietly become a top 5 receiver and a safety blanket for Drew when needed. I love the balance this team has but I love that we can count on him to come down with the ball when needed.

It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about the Saints

I wish I could have seen some of his catches this week.

God, we really need Snead back in playing shape.

he had some really nice catches today and some fantastic plays. He is a legit joy to watch...but I can honestly say that about a lot of Saints right now.

He's had a quiet year but so has the entire passing attack in general. No need to chuck it 40 times per game with these lethal running backs and O line.

I think Buffalo must have been playing him differently than most teams so far. Bc he was clearly a big part of the offensive gameplan. Loved seeing Drew throw some up to him and let him show he can play like an elite WR, not just an elite possession WR. He made some big time plays today. Was waiting for this breakout performance.

The throws were even nicer. Brees put many through a window

That third down catch when he had that corner all over him was unreal. He just muscled the ball away from him basically. The DB had no chance.

The one he skied on at the near sideline with defender right there was a thing of beauty. Hand yoga paying off.

Lord I hope not, because whoever that DB was, in 9 months we will find out the gender of the baby that Mike Thomas put inside of him on that catch.

Thomas needs a few TDs in the next games. With OBJ hurt, this is the year that he should make a pro bowl.
