He’s part owner, in the succession plan. Always makes me laugh when I see these “fire Loomis” posts.

It’s obvious Loomis gives a shite when he went after CKM. It’s what he should have done after Payton/Drew. But they told him to run it back with Allen.

Not sure about that buddy. If that’s the case, why would Loomis fight Gale about firing Allen? The players, the fans etc all wanted him gone. And Mickey didn’t want to fire him.

Allen’s hire was 100% Loomis’s decision and that’s why he didn’t want to fire him.

Sean P also most likely put in his two cents.

or if he didn't then he knew what Mickey was doing which made that coaching "search" once Payton left a fricking joke.

Some of the dumbass quotes that Loomis has made in his pressers lately are so fricking tone deaf and no one really calls his out.

"Just because the results aren't what we want doesn't mean we aren't doing things the right way."

WTF

give a god damn break

Saban only did that knowing he could get his job back had that happened. Payton had no plans of coming back here once he left. Never was an option.

Typical New Orleanian.

Just acceptance of things like: defeat, incompetence, complacency, substandard conditions and a better way of life. Just a apathetic attitude.

It's the New Orleans way...... and its pathetic.

Have some balls and demand more. You want change? Demand a better standard. Boycott the games. Protest in front of the Dome. Demand they fire Loomis!!

Maybe, but letting our incompetent owner and GM just keep skating by and sticking it to the fans without any backlash is weak.

The only thing that makes them move is BAD Public Relations with the community. If the community is treating your franchise with hostility and frustration, they will make the change. Every franchise responds this way, even the shitty ones, like ours.

The "its no use" attitude is for quitters. So much money, we just the little guy. poor me. Get lost with that bullshite.

Goodell does not run our franchise and has nothing to do with the shittiest GM in pro sports running the Saints. #FIRELOOMIS

Should I get my Schwemanns now Rouses paper bag ready, with eyelets and a frown on the front and Aints on the back?

I remember an old story Buddy said about tickets when they were this bad. A guy had a pair of tickets to an upcoming game and couldn’t go to the game and no one he knew wanted the tickets.

This is long before the online ticket exchanges and the internet. Back then most stores had bulletin boards where you could post things like a lost dog, a garage sale, or a items for sale.

So the guy put the tickets on the bulletin board and left. A few days go by, and he goes back to the store to see if anyone picked up his tickets. His tickets were still there but by then other fans had did the same and the bulletin board was covered with free tickets to the game because no one wanted to waste their time going to the dome to watch the team lose.

That was how bad they were. Also blackout rules applied back then so some home games were blacked out. That is why some cable systems on the fringe of New Orleans like Houma and Biloxi imported a CBS affiliate from Lafayette or Mobile to be able to carry the game.

Mickey Loomis as a GM has not been good at all the last 5 years imo. Always in a salary cap hole every year, he always has to dig his way out of it. But he continues to let potentially really good players like Trey Hendrickson go instead of re-signing them and making the Saints defense potentially really good. He's let some LBers that were on the rise go along with DBs too. He just seems to be losing whatever credibility as a GM that he had go.

Should have shown him the door when Sean left but he’s part of the 3 headed disaster and will leave when he wants.
