Mcshay said Mac Jones has moved up in his rankings to maybe the last pick of the first rd.

If he really is that deep of a player to get in the draft, the Saints shouldn’t bat an eye if he’s on the board when it’s their turn to pick, get him in NOLA...

Mcshay said it during the ND game too say btw:

I'm sold on neither, but is trask or Jones the better prospect? I think I would prefer trask

Idk, he’s pretty damn good man. That offense is nasty.

Definitely Jones. I’ll be surprised if he’s there at our pick tbh

That shouldn’t matter. There’s not a single school out there that pumps out Pro Bowl QBs. QB is the one position where schools can’t dominate because the nature of the position.

Mac has played about as well as he is able to. He’s made all throws he’s needed to make. But I understand the concerns about his athleticism, limited sample size, and the impact of his supporting cast. So I don’t know really how good or bad he might be.

I haven't watched a lot of him. Bama games are just very uninteresting bc of how good they are. I did watch today some, and Bama receivers seem to catch anything remotely close. I'd wanna see a big senior bowl showing to pick him just to see him facing a defense on equal footing.

Id rather trask, ive seen him do it while injured with no receivers, no running game, and no defense. Cant say the same for jones

With Bama o line, Harris in backfield, and those receivers especially smith, any avg qb would look great so I’d pass on him early

So he's Andy Dalton

Isn't a horrible qb, but he had a limited ceiling.

I'm trying hard to remember any Nick Saban QB with any real NFL success.

Matt Flynn for one playoff game?
Tua with rookie flashes?
Hurts upset win over Saints?

Davey? no
Mauck? no
Russell? no.
McElroy? no
McCarron? no.
Sims? no.

Missing anybody?

I don’t take either in the 1st. Taysom is more capable at this point. Who else is on the board in 2nd-7th?
