Similar backs but the price tag makes the difference. AK is the focus back in New Orleans now not Ingram. We need someone to compliment AK and Murray will do that very well for a good chunk of money less.

Ingram's the better player but financial considerations have to be made sometimes.

Also, you have to look at the mileage. With the shift to two back systems with guys splitting the carries, Murray essentially has 2 seasons fewer carries than Mark.

Murray is a good big bruising back. He’s younger as well. Thank you for your service Mark.

It sucks to see Mark Ingram move, but Loomis knows what he’s doing.

Somebody is gonna pay mark atleast double what Latavius Murray got from us, but I think Murray will do just fine. Increase Kamaras role and keep a complimentary back that runs well between the tackles at a good price.

One had an all-time great QB while playing in one of the best all-time offenses; the other is Murray.

Just got back to respond to all this. I think MI was asking too much.

So did MI fall short of Dueces rushing record?

my biggest concern in this whole deal is right there in that gif. MI was one of the best protection backs in the league. I get the money and we had to let him walk, but we can’t make a SB if drew is on his back.
