Marcus Davenport needs to improve very quickly

This Defense will get smoked with no pass rush. We spent 2 first round picks on Davenport for him to be that pass rusher. I believe all he did today was have a roughing the passer penalty. He needs to step up quickly.

He didn’t lose containment. Our defensive coordinator decided to stunt him and onyemata. That way your defensive tackle has containment.

Yeah saw that...He is suppose to be a freak athletically but can't run down Fitzpatrick to give us a chance to send it to overtime.

What two first round picks did we spend on Davenport?
The Saints swapped firdt round pivks with Greenbay and gave up a 5th round draft pick in the 2018 draft and a 2019 1st round draft pick for the draft rights to Davenport in 2018.
The Saints swapped first round picks with Greenbay, the Saints did not give Green bay two first round picks.
