he would have been wasting away behind the bench like all the other guys we have drafted and then ended up getting cut.

Let's see what Mahomes is doing 10 years from now.

And then 10 years after that.

Colin Kaepernick came out in 2012 just like this and set the world on fire, went all the way to the Super Bowl. Now the asshat can't even stand up or find work.

Two different types of QB's bro.
If you can't see that, something's wrong with you.

Helps when you have 3 great receivers, a nice receiving TE, backs who can catch out the backfield and a great blocking OL.

In 2012 Kaep threw for 1800 yards, 10 TD and 3 picks in 13 games.

Mahomes through 6 games already has more passing yards and 8 more more passing TD's.

Please don't insult Mahomes by comparing him to Kaep

He's like a cheat player in Madden.

He has it upstairs and is ridiculously physically gifted.

We would have been a playoff caliber team for 30 years. Right now being the end of era 1 of 2.

I don't see why people say things like

"well look at colin and look at dak"

neither could go through their progressions before they took off and ran or get sacked. I'm watching Mahomes go through his progressions, buy time, and throw. Abandons the pass to run when its a clear lane and only when its clear.

Kid is going to be special for a long time. The NFL found their next two young elites: Wentz, Mahomes.

Never said he was going to go the route of Kaepernick. Was responding to the post of "let's see what he's doing in 10 years".

Let's see what Mahomes does beyond half a season. No doubt he's a special talent. Took Drew Brees 5 mediocre years and a torn labrum to become the all-time passer. Truly special players come along only so often, perhaps Mahomes is the next.

He’s good, but he’s throwing to people that are ridiculously wide open.

Next year will be more tellling after defensive coordinators have had an offseason to break down his film and study his tendencies.
