Benson is removing himself from some nfl committies. IS he OK? This got me to thinking. Anyone else worried about the club once the inevitable happens(the death of Tom Benson). I mean I think he is an OK owner(there are worse), I think the his biggest flaw is not handing the reigns of the franchise to a competent GM. Something which he did do when he initially bought the team. The thing that is scary to think about is Rita inheriting the team. From all reports she is a nut job. Benson himself even had to suspend her for some sort of negative transgressions (such as firing/changing seretaries like she changes panties0)among other things. What will this saints organization look like under her leadership

yes Rita is crazy. My Uncle does construction for the company that added on to the Saints Facility, and he said she is nuts.

i heard she like to scissor with a well known news lady in the nola metro area. not sure if it was ever proven true.

Maybe I mispoke. I would keep Mickey as a cap guy not a GM. We need a guy that can judge talent. A competent GM would not have drafted this poorly as the Saits have had in the first round. A competent Gm would not have done that RHarper contract

So Tom dies and you want to demote mickey to a numbers guy and make the numbers guy a letters guy and bring in morena to judge that talent.

I actually came on here to defend you by saying, "Guys, what he means to say is the Benson's biggest flaw is that a competent GM like Mickey Loomis doesn't already have the reigns so he's scared of an unstable Rita getting control."
