olave walked right past a yapping carr like he didn't fricking exist. Derek should have laid hands on prayed with Olave.

You don’t seem to realize this says more about Olave than Carr.

LOL at you thinking DA or Carmichael has the competency to ever make any changes at any point and time. This is what we are going to get until one of them or both is fired.

2) it comes across badly when you are bitching at your teammates and its plain as day there is no mutual respect back at you.

That’s your opinion. Olave ignoring his QB and half-assing routes only looks bad on him.

I hate to say it, as I thought Carr could have success with our O talent but it's Carr. Oline did a decent job pass blocking yesterday, better than past weeks, Carr was just bad. I don't like PC calling plays but sometimes it just has to fall on the QB. A good QB can get over bad play calls, he's just missing reads and throws, there's blitzes that are going untouched. Sorry, but 7 games in and this offense playing this bad, this is on Carr.

This game was more on him no doubt. He looked off from the git go. And if I see him throw one more got damn high uncatchable ball at the back of the endzone I'll flip.

None of us are psychologists and there’s no way we can reliably judge his state of mind.

Im not a huge Florio or King fan but they are on the money here. Watch the link below. Do people think nobody ran the wrong routes when Brees was QB? Olave suddenly is loafing this year when he wasn’t last year? Carr is missing throws and not taking accountability. Its not just bad qb play but its bad leadership.

To be fair, you have no idea what his medical situation was or how much pain he was in

Brees played with broken ribs and tendons. Far worse injuries than Carr deals with yet you never saw him even show it. All these small things matter in becoming a leader and players respecting you. Carr has leadership issues and its not just his play on the field.

Both of these are true:

- Olave hasn't been finishing routes, and this is a problem.
- Even if he had run the route, the pass from Carr was uncatchable.

My problem with Carr is he seems to think he's an elite QB and acts like it, rather than being a mid-range QB that probably would've had a much smaller payday if it wasn't for a desperate head coach looking for a magic bullet.

I don't have an issue with someone getting chewed out, but do it on the sidelines/locker room.

Brees was lightening in a bottle for the Saints, sadly. That’s all, folks.

But we can compare him to how other QBs who are good leaders act. They don’t do that stuff. Again its very common for wrs to run wrong routes. Heck even the great wrs do. But QBS don’t scream and call them out on national tv games. Its embarrassing what we’re seeing from him.

Thats fine but we shouldn’t be paying out of our arse for a qb whos not even close to that and make him an unquestioned leader of this team.

I hope the Saints bought a Carr Shield policy with that broke down Carr. If not, contact Ice T or Ric Flair immediately!

CTE?

End of game and first and goal and timeouts to spare and no running plays.

No Taysom Hill runs and coaching staff seemed afraid to pull Carr for a play or two.

Staff seemed reluctant to bruise Carr’s ego, feelings, or confidence. Team was more concerned for Carr than winning the game.

Would you rather him smile like Brooks used to after throwing pix and just cave to his pouty little teammates. I prefer an alpha as a qb someone who takes control and will also admit to his mistakes and I think he does that. I don’t have no issue with Carr holding guys responsible on plays but he also must not go overboard. Leaders lead by example so he must elevate his play for them to respect his arse chewing.

Is he admitting to his mistakes or constantly diverting that others aren’t doing their job? As a qb on any level if the throw isn’t made its on the qb- thats what is taught. Thats what he should say and communicate. Obviously it may be on the wr or OL and that can be discussed internally. Going in front of the media insinuating that others aren’t doing their job or going off on the sideline on others is complete lack of ownership and leadership.
