We won't throw big money at Ingram. They will let him walk.

BTW, they are dogging you in OT, go get em.

He would have to be one of the top what 3 RBs in the league? he isn't even the top running back on his own team.

This shite needs to stop. Anyone who pays moderate attention to the NFL knows that he is having an All-Pro season. He may not win it, but it isn't like Bell or Gurley are light years ahead of him.

And yes, Ingram is the better RB on his team.

Past 3 years includes this year.

2015-2017

Do tell me 5 names that have been better backs throughout these 3 years.

Don't think it will happen at this point since he's getting overshadowed by Kamara. Bell will be the All Pro RB.

But, since we're assuming....

I'd offer him 7m a year probably. I definitely want him on the team. But more than that? Eh...

He has been a top 5 back this year. Not in the past. No need to overthink it.

there's a all pro spot that can go to a RB 2 or WR 3. Possibly even a TE2.

i'm waiting on your 5 names the past 3 years. he's averaged 5 yards a carry overall from 2015 season 2016 season and 2017 season. He hasn't gotten the volume of touches due to our offense spreading ball.

get back with me on those 5 names above ingram.

If if he does shite out 5 names, the two of you will never agree on a ranking of each.

nah, i've looked at it before, there's no sane argument to make that ingram hasn't been a top 5 back over the past 3 years considering his consistent production and efficient production per carry.

Well there are first and second team allpros. My confusion is with the flex position.

ETA: Hell, 2015 had 4 RBs. 2014 had 3.

Assuming he's voted All Pro.

Of course we'd like to sign him but at what cost. I'm sure Ingram would like to get paid as a top 5 back in the league like he's been past 2-3 years. He was on a 4 mill a year type contract. Top RB's in the league are getting 6-8ish million a year without question.

At what point are we going to let Ingram walk and feature Kamara? I have zero problems featuring Kamara but it will be difficult replacing Ingram in a two back role type rotation.

Ingram isn't an old RB yet, but he's certainly getting up there at 27. Not sure you can justify giving him more than 4 years max if you do re-up him.

The classic "use total yards instead of the much more relevant YPC" to skew his ranking. Classic Saints Talk.

frick him.

Not the topic of this thread I know but we need to find a good TE in the draft and cut his dead weight arse.

Ingram has one more year on his contract (after this year). He won't get all pro (this is the only way his contract can end this year)

I thought if he makes the pro bowl it voids also?

Idk. I've seen it both ways: all-pro and 1st team all-pro.
