Saints organization pays Carr 150 mil to be franchise QB. We shouldn't be discussing theses topics. He should read a defense and call a winning play. This might be biggest mistake since Saints trade for that QB from Dallas.

Did the Saints FO not study film on Carr with the Raiders to establish his monetary worth to the Saints franchise?

Does the Saints FO possess the skills necessary to accomplish such a basic task?

There is no reason to be a fan of a franchise that can't answer these questions in the affirmative.

That's why I'm questioning my Saints fanhood - I do not now know what it is I'm supposed to be rooting for. The whole franchise might be one solid block of stupid, and, I can't be a fan of that.

Not only did we not study film on Carr but we also hired his coach.

At this point, I think we have well established that they either do not have the skills, or are lazy and feel no pressure.

They're the home team, that's really all they have going for them at this point. The likeable parts of this team have mostly moved on, and I don't feel like there's any pressure to do better.

I wasn’t a fan of the signing, but Allen was desperate. So I get it. I wanted to go the TB route and sign someone super cheap. I didn’t think we would pay him over 30. I’m still not sure who we were bidding against.

This wasn’t a great move, but it was far from the worst recently. He didn’t cost us any draft capital.

The Olave trade is looking way worse to me.

The scouting department has to be drooling over the QB for Louisville. He is a Derek Carr clone.

That trade cost us a first second and third round pick. Carr cost nothing. Not even close.

Aside from drafting a needed QB this year, I’d love for any one of those FSU lineman like Verse or Fisk.
