His willingness to play the joker roll..I know he wants to be the starting QB...I just don't see it..

Me either.

7 completions is 2 years? A scat back could easily put up those numbers and rush and catch for more yardage.

With Hill lined up at quarterback, the Saints have averaged 0.237 EPA per run (32 runs) and 0.517 EPA per pass (three passes). The league-wide EPA per run play is -0.09 EPA for runs and 0.05 for passes. Even an offense as explosive as the Saints has only averaged -0.01 EPA per run and 0.36 on pass plays. Put simply; Hill has been a cheat code for the Saints when they’ve needed it most.
And that was before he developed into a receiving threat

Now your saying something completely different dufus.
Its now about how much he is getting paid?

Its now about how much he is getting paid?

So, the future is a running QB for the Saints?

A “running quarterback” just won MVP

Sure it is. The guy that can do everything (including 7 whole completions over 2 years) is getting kid a lot of money as a QB.
Think about it. That’s a little more than 2M a completion.
I mean the guy can do it all. Just look at those 7 completions.

I bring more than 7 completions in two years.

Did a little more than run, don’t you think?

Dont move the goalposts. That wasn't the stupid argument you made

This is the same generic answers everyone gives. A master of many. But what does he do?
He adds another layer of unpredictability to our offense. Remember when we had Darren Sproles and everytime he came in the game everyone in the stands and on the field knew it was a passing play? I love Sproles but that was frustrating to watch on offense. Taysom does the exact opposite. When he's on the field, you have no idea what is going to happen on offense. You have a player that may run the ball, pass the ball (doesn't do it often, but he can do it. Which is key), block, or catch the ball. That makes it so much harder to gameplan against. When your offense is unpredictable, your plays are more successful.
No, he's not a top 10 TE, top 10 RB, top 10 WR, or top 10 QB. But he can somewhat competently play all of those positions and THAT is what makes him dangerous. I don't get how this is so hard to grasp

1 TD and a tackle isn’t worth 17 M.
you are 100% correct.
he isn't getting paid 17 million for what he's done on this team.
he is getting paid 17 million for what he will do on the 2021 team.

I’m not moving anything.
The guy can do it all. His versatility is unmatched!
shite, I could say he doesn’t kick enough field goals. I’m not the one arguing he does IT ALL!

Don’t forget block punts and return kicks.
