Per Rapoport:

After a free agent tour, CB Kayvon Webster is signing with the #Saints today, source said. Some special teams help and a chance to make it in the secondary.

He was the 2nd best CB available behind Morris Claiborne. The youngest as well.
Good signing.

I think Webster is more of competition for Crawley. PJ is a lock.
They didn't give him 2.25 mil guaranteed to cut him.

Either that or he's injured. He's a solid man-to-man CB.

The New Orleans Saints are still looking to improve their defensive back rotation.
On Monday, the organization signed cornerback Kayvon Webster to a contract after briefly testing the free agent market, according to a report from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
Webster was among three players at the position who had a tryout with the Saints recently, including Coty Sensabaugh and Prince Charles Iworah.
Webster had already attracted potential interest from two other NFC challengers, including the Chicago Bears and the San Francisco 49ers.
The 28 year old is coming off a recent spate of injuries, having to be placed on the injured reserve list with the Houston Texans with a quadriceps ailment, and after being reactivated in late December but re-aggravated the problem two weeks later.
A former third round draft pick by the Denver Broncos six years ago, Webster emerged as a reliable special teams contributor for that team in 2016 and was a member of their Super Bowl 50 championship squad, but missed out on that game after being placed on injured reserve with a concussion late that season.
Prior to the 2017 season, Webster signed a two year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, starting 11 games before an Achilles rupture ended it, and he was placed on injured reserve late in the year.
A failed physical would get him released by the Rams last April.
Webster signed a one year contract with the Texans this past season, but was placed on injured reserve with the quad issue in October.
In his NFL career, Webster has 122 combined tackles, a forced fumble, 21 pass breakups, and two intercepted passes.
It would be difficult to see Webster earning a prominent place among the Saints’ cornerback rotation, given that the team already has its two primary starters, a starter at nickel, and a few trusted backups already in place.
Marshon Lattimore and Eli Apple are poised to resume their starting positions, Patrick Robinson hopes to make a comeback as the nickel feature after missing much of last season with an ankle injury, while the Saints have P.J. Williams and Ken Crawley in reserve, in addition to special teams contributors Marcus Sherels and Justin Hardee listed at the position.

Isn’t that supposed to read, “A three hour tour?”
Posted on 6/11/19 at 3:15 am to cheeser
It was PJ "Ole'" Williams
...then PJ "OK" Williams.
...then PJ "OK" Williams.

I don't understand why they don't give Delvin Breaux another shot. Dude was a solid player before the injuries.
Posted on 6/11/19 at 10:22 pm to goatmilker
Dude is completely healthy now and played a whole season in the CFL last year, besides, it wasn't his fault that he was misdiagnosed by terrible doctors.
Posted on 6/19/19 at 10:11 pm to tzimme4
Excellent special teams player. That’s where the impact will be made.

You’re right, it isn’t his fault. And it sucks, because he would’ve been a great Tiger and a great long term Saint without injuries.
That doesn’t change the fact that it is a huge risk that the Saints have absolutely no reason to partake in. We’re in win now mode (with an unusual chance to keep the ball rolling after Brees retires), you don’t invest in an injury risk at Breaux’s age.
