Probably not wrong for the purposes of winning this game. Unfortunately Carr needs the reps, and it'll be a few games of similar production. I miss 4 games of preseason, I felt like week two used to be pretty rough but this feels like game 4 preseason with starters.

Correct. Carr’s potential is an upgrade from Dalton but it takes time to get into rhythm with the rest of the offense. Saw the same with Dalton last season.
For the amount of money we’re paying Carr, I would have rather kept Dalton for one more season and try to beef up our Oline.

At this point I'll be pleasantly surprised if they go 2-2 to start the season. If they can win this one it'd be huge. Don't really care about it looking pretty, Carolina always plays the Saints hard.
