Sigh. I told myself I wouldn't do this. I usually bet the random oddball NFL or college game that catches my eye and avoid the Saints or LSU because I can't divorce emotions from logic clearly enough to make a rational wager.

Somebody tell me that despite me being a Saints fan, they are still likely to win by 4 points. Somebody tell me that I didn't throw away my $100.

It's possible. If the Falcons Oline looks like a hot mess in the 1st quarter, odds are you won your bet. If the Saints have 0 sacks in the 1st quarter - you gon' get raped.

i have a weird feeling falcons start out fast and as the game goes on the o-line crumbles on them and matt ryan gets sacked a bit too many times.

I think what finally tipped me over into betting this game was seeing Wilson and Galette back to full practice. Put those two with Cam Jordan and Curtis Lofton means four playmakers on defense. I think this will be the best defense we've had under in the CSP era.

Then why didn't you take them in the Superbowl?

Put 20$ in vegas to win it all.

Gonna be rich yo

And DD, zero yards rushing for you guys in 1st quarter, I would be fine with and zero sacks.

Dude, its simple. If you feel it then bet it. Its that simple...just dont ever bet all your money on Oregon State to beat a FCS team like I did.

It seems like you unfortunate fans are starting to come to terms with the fact that the Falcons are looking better than the Saints this season.

Despicable.

Not sure it is that. More so that if there is money on the line, most the time it takes homerism out of the equation. This game should be a nailbiter, but then again it may not be, but we dont have enough information to make a solid bet one way or another.

Love the bet.
Saints are coming in as a fresh team with a new swagger on Defense. Time will tell how effective this will be, but look at the bright side... There's no way they can be worse.

You should have bought a point or two... I'd take them much more confidently at -2 1/2. These rivalry games are always played close it seems no matter how much better or worse the teams are.

On a side note, can we talk about how utterly ridiculous it is that the second ranked team in the league is a 3pt underdog against the 21st ranked team????

players definitely seem happier and more enthusiastic this year compared to last. maybe the payton factor, but I think in general they're buying into the system and working their tail off.
