Just one more SB victory in the Drew Brees era is all I'm asking please Is it probable?

more than probable. If we never win another superbowl, I'm glad i was alive when it happened. There are Saints fans that died waiting for this day to happen. And I'm glad i was able to witness a future HOF QB wear the black and gold and tear defenses apart in the dome.

Payton and Brees will always be gods among men in my book

We should win another one...or two. But we also should have won this last game. There's so much more than talent involved that it's near impossible to tell. With Peyton Manning likely to come back next year, that's just more competition.

We'll have a great chance though. I think we finally get this defense turned around and this time will have incredible motivation to be the first home team to host and win a Super Bowl

We beat him before, no doubt we can do it again.

I know I'm very happy to have our SB win, I just see so much talent and a better team than 09 and just hate to see us not win at least one more especially with Brees as QB. Plus I can't stand the idea of Eli Manning having more rings than drew

If we win one more Loomis could run this bad boy into the ground and I'd be happy

Its certainly possible for the next 3-5 years. But I hate that they blew a great opprotunity this year because you never know how many of those chances you will get.

That's why it's so maddening. This year was set up so well

We had to lose this year to set up the emotions/ motivation/ and story for the first Superbowl won at home in the dome next year. You'll see.

Well it could have been back to back, plus winning XLIV and XLVI would have been awesome

I hope you are right and they are certainly set up to be in the mix again next year, if they make some adjustments in the offseason especially on D. That first round pick would sure come in handy.

i truly believe that we were only one competent DC away from another SB win....at least a SB berth.

We have no right to give up hope in the Saints at this point in Saints History. It would be a pathetic crime to do so.

Just that more important to get that number 1 seed. Looking back at the season its amazing we got to 14 wins. I mean some of the most unfortunate stuff happened this year as far as untimely turnovers and silly penalties and a loss to the Rams and the fact that normally a 13-3 season would allow you a number 1 seed. Two 13-3 teams and a 15-1 team. I would hardly call that things falling into place. Everyone needs a little luck down the stretch. If we can keep Nicks and Colston, we still have the same red hot offense as this year

Maybe we can get Peyton Manning on the cheap and have one series of Drew and then another with Peyton how could you prepare for that

FIFY

ETA: That being said, it's painful to see a team that is very capable of going and winning another superbowl, fail. On the other hand, I never thought we would win a sb in my life and will be satisfied after it's all said and done for just one if that's all we get in this era.

I'm not satisfied currently though, because being satisfied equals losing.

If he gets a decent defense, it is more than probable.

Red Sox '04 title was for the grandparents. Their '07 title was for the kids.

The next one will be for the kids.

Let's do this!

I truly expect another before Brees is done. I'd really like two to get a dynasty type history.

After the long and cruel history of this franchise repeating the first 6 years of Payton would be pretty nice. Multiplying the last 3 even better-
41-13 including playoffs with a Lombardi.

Sounds like LSU logic to me.
