It was definitely OPI.

Can someone find the gif of the Saints getting called for the same push off earlier in the season? I think it was against Michael Thomas. Exact same arm extension. Same Snapback and distance created.

Called OPI

Bobby Hebert just shocked me by saying he was ok with the no call on that play

he's more upset with the blindside block call against JT Gray that cost the Saints almost 40 yards following a Deonte Harris return

Man who cares

We lost that game due to pitiful, pathetic arse offensive execution, Lutz’s missed FG before half and the false start on the fake punt. Uncharacteristic play all game long. That one play was the culmination of a game we should have had in the bag.

Lutz makes that kick or we get that fake punt, we are never in that position. We win the game 23-20 on the kick late in the 4th. The offense didn’t show up and Payton got out coached by Zimmer again. That’s why we lost.

What about Lutz missed field goal?
What about Brees throwing into double coverage and the int?
What about Brees fumbling like an idiot?
What the Peat and Warfford being rusty as hell , and it look like the back up linemen were better suited for this game.

It's not all the refs. Last year refs screwed us, but that game shouldn't have been that close. Payton can't draft develop a 2nd receiver? That is killing us in the playoffs. We don't have a physical back because Payton is enamored by Kamara who is a nice shifty back but he's not a guy you can give the rock 25 times per game and wear down a defense. Denis Allen is not the answer at Defensive coordinator, he's an improvement over what we had 2011-2015 but he is not a clutch playoff DC!!

I know there was one against cook in a game down the middle when a defender grabbed him. Funny thing is the saints were called for dpi later in that game when the same thing happened. If there’s any inkling of a pass interference call being made you can bet the saints will be on the wrong end of it.

Yep. I think you're right. I think that was the one I was thinking of. It was against Cook.

The defense played well enough to win this game.

That was so small no way it would have been called after a review. Saints got their shite pushed in bottom line.

20-20 in OT isn't exactly getting your shite pushed in.

We had opportunities. Brees and the OL struggled. Kamara is Soft and spacey. And we have only 1 WR.
D wasn't great but held in there.

Taysom is an animal. And that was 100% OPI

All you people who don’t care about that call are pathetic.

I don’t care how bad the Saints played, how many chances they wasted, a fricking PLAYOFF game was decided in OT because the league refused to review an obvious push off on 3rd down.

The next play should have been 3rd and goal from the 14. If Minnesota scores from 14 yards out on a 100% legal play then I say good job and I move on, but no game (much less a playoff game) should be decided on a missed call.

It’s like last season broke you guys.

I wonder what the call would have been if a DB pushed off like that? Yeah, I think we all know!!!

At some point, the Saints have to be held accountable. This wasn’t the refs. Wasn’t the same as last season.

That wasn’t the blatant type PI that would have been made right by a review. The NFL only did it twice during the regular season. I’m not saying it wasn’t PI but goddamn man you can’t expect to get that call, especially being a Saints fan.

It was OPI, can't say that enough. Williams tried to grab him after the push off.
NFL refs have no accountability and never have.

Can't believe both Dungy and Woodson both vehemently said that is OPI all day.
Not the total reason for losing. But regardless of what happened previously, the game should have continued.

obvious OPI...extended arm, but even more the push propelled the defender away from the ball/play...miss it on the field bang/bang, I can live with. Not changing it under review, in a playoff game that directly decides the outcome is outrageous.
New York was quick on the correction on the kickoff play last night. New York said, New Orleans, nah ref didn't call we aint' touching it. Outrageous.

If you review the fumble return for TD to get it right then get all TD plays right. The Delvin Cook play where they’re we’re running in to mark him short then called it a TD was not reviewed either. No one on here is asking for them to hand us a god damn win, just fricking follow the “all TD’s are reviewed” the nfl implemented years ago and get it right for fricks sake. Whether that means RB’s knee was down before the fumble, he breaks the plane of the goal line, or the receiver pushes off to create separation. I really don’t care but if you have the technology to get it right then fricking do it. That’s the part that pisses me off more than anything.
