This is true. The #Raiders paid WR Jordy Nelson $3M… then released him.

Kind of want.

We need to retinker the receiving Corp to fit Brees strengths. The really deep ball isn't exactly a strength anymore but he's still a master a short and intermediate stuff..

Mike Thomas is the mid range play maker.

Kamara comes out of the backfield for the short passes

We need a TE for the middle of the field. Cook would be a great get

I'd like to see a slot guy. Payton and Brees like those quick slants. Tate would have been nice but Nelson might fit that role at this point.

Then theres Smith, Meredith and Ginn

Nola Raiders! YAY!

Real Talk I like it. Jordy has hands and makes huge plays. Only question is can we bring Dez back?

Jordy is a nice fit. Came on strong during the back half of last year with 38 catches in the last 5 games. Reliable vet we could probably get for fairly cheap.

Sign him YESTERDAY. We should've signed him last year, and we would not have had to trot out those sub-AAF receivers.

I don’t get all the he’s a good fit talk. Seems like he’s done most of his work down the sideline throughout his career. Doesn’t really seem to fit what Drew likes to do really at all at this point.

when it was discussed last year there were lots of stats of him dominating from the slot

I guess if he’s cheap. He’s almost 34. I could definitely see him going back to Green Bay to be with his buddy.

If we need another WR, I’d take a look at Ryan Grant.

Id rather get a speedier wr who can get yac like Cobb. Getting separation is the biggest problem with our WR corps. I don't see Jordy helping with that much at age 33.

If Nelson would take a 1 year $3 mil deal I say go for it.
