I can understand him being a little upset he wasn't up there with McAllister as well. Horn should of gotten more attn. He did a lot for that team and stuck with them for a while.

I remember all of his HUGE drops that cost us games, or at least a chance at a win.
He was average at best because ofhis suspect hands!

The dude had ONE great year, ONE Good year, Two "Meh" years, and 4 shite years
Ricky blows this Mutha out the water, give credit where it's due, but don't put some average dude up on pedestal.
PS: ricky took two years off and still blasts this dude out the water

I've read enough BS from idiots on this board to know that even with the most well known people on the inside giving you information, it's dismissed as hearsay. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. You think I was born yesterday? Think again.
You want info? ask for the p.m. and I'll let you know. Otherwise, it's not getting posted on a public forum, and I'll be damned if it's going to happen on anything but an encrypted server.
Translation: I'm trying my damnedest to look like a big shot on the internet, but nobody's buying into my schtick.

OK, now you're just trolling. Not even you can be this dumb.

you want the info? I told you how to do it.
Your preconceived notions make it impossible however. I can't tell you anything from personal experience to change your mind. You have a view of an individual and that won't change, you're obviously too stubborn.
With that said, you're ignored.

This.
By the way, about the Joe Horn rumor, from what I've been told shite did in fact happen, but it wasn't Joe Horn banging Roaf's wife. I say no more because I want to be an internet bigshot and maintain a certain level of mystique.

It's not just about being the Saints leading rusher, or a 3rd and short beast, or a dependable player, or red zone asset. Deuce was the total package, on and off the field.
quote:
Deuce was as valuable or more than JH when they were in their prime. Short yardage, play action, max protect are all things a RB has to do. RB's take a shite ton more punishment and therefore, Deuce was hurt much more often. Even when he was playing, he was never TRULY 100% healthy. He did not make excuses, he did not complain, he did not call out the coaches or trainers, he did not cause problems. He went to work, did his job and ended up a Saints legend on AND OFF the field. Joe Horn isn't worthy to wash Deuces jock.

Interestingly, what I said was the truth as I know it told by someone in the locker room at the time. But I wouldn't swear to it.

I understand that. I wouldn't either if it were told to me secondhand. I don't understand what the big deal is, Joe was always himself on the field and off, it's not like the man made a secret of who he was and what was at his core.

Why, you actually are a tool, aren't you?

Yeah, too, have heard the Roaf rumor was mainly a smokescreen for what "really happened." But, I don't claim to have any idea of what that was, or even really care - particularly at this point.

Whether or not it was an intentional smokescreen, I don't know, but I'm pretty confident it didn't happen as circulated around the rumor mill.

No. What are you talking about? You guys don't think someone can't spend time with Joe or his agent? What's so "lofty" about that? I'm certainly not the only one on this board that's played a round of golf with him.
This is getting ridiculous, as I knew it would.

That's what I want to know. You're the one acting like what happened is a state secret.
