Man what a stupid comment this is lol . I guess we could sign tony Gonzales. Regardless of the age we need to throw to him because he big !! Lmao maybe we should invest in a tight end instead of drafting either oline or dline guy if y’all are bitching about that . Or maybe we should’ve went after Waller in free agency but good look trying to get a dude to live in New Orleans over NYC . Sad but it’s the truth . I really think it’s going to be hard to attract free agents to New Orleans.

Well yeah when the Saints let him go and he's not one of the 53.
Till then we expect a person to perform silly fans.

Once again he merely was signed to play one more year and retire as a Saint lol. Idk why y’all actually expected a 37 year old jimmy who hasn’t really been good in years to all of a sudden preform. This is funny as hell. Saints offense hasn’t used a tight end right in years . Doesn’t really involve them as much . They’re just blockers manly . Maybe that’s why you haven’t seen a saints tight end with more than 5 touchdowns catches in a year since probly rookie jimmy . The scheme Pete and Sean been running for the last decade uses them more as blockers .

Y’all literally find anything to throw shade at Pete . I hope he goes somewhere else and comes back to drop 70 on the saints that would be comical

It's funny you think they decided to keep another p layer off the 53 and get reps just so JG could do nothing and draw a check. Lord knows they couldn't sign him at the end of the year for last game to retire a Saint.
You're a funny dude.

That’s a GM question lol . Just saying it stupid y’all had expectations of him actually preforming like it’s 2010

The issue is that Jimmy is on the roster. He is dressed on game days and plays roughly 30% of the snaps. And the sheer wisdom of the scheme is to primarily use him as a blocker? In his 12 year career, he has never been a good blocker; but this is what he's called to do now; especially considering the red zone struggles. No one is expecting him to stretch the field and command 10+ targets a game. But is it too much to ask for the team to consider a few red zone targets; especially when your go to red zone play is iso fades or corner routes?

Graham would of caught that ball that Moreua dropped. That is for sure. The game would of tied and we would of lost in OT but hey we would of had hope for a bit!

Man what a stupid comment this is lol

Which comment exactly?
I am in no way suggesting Jimmie Graham would be having a 30rec/360yrd/10TD year if we started him, hell I'm not even suggesting to start him you idiot. The only thing I am suggesting is that he is 6'6" and can jump and box out defenders in the end zone, he did it in preseason albeit not against starters.
What is stupid is the suggestion that Dennis Allen & Mickey Loomis wasted a roster spot on a 37yr old out of the kindness of their heart after Mickey had the balls to trade him away in his prime years ago.
The only thing I'm saying is we suck in the red zone, and that is Jimmie's best attribute, so why TF not even try him? There is absolutely no sense in continually throwing up fade routes to 6' Olave and not 6'6" Graham. What is the worst that could happen, we don't score? Been doing that all year long bro. I thought his signing was just going to be a camp body, then he showed in practice & preseason he still has a few plays left. I was still surprised he made the 53, but since he is on the 53 it's stupid that we are using a TE who has been a subpar blocker his entire career as primarily a blocker, and not even attempting to use him in the red zone where he made his name.
Can you honestly say that throwing it up to him at the end of the Texans or Jaguars game at least once is not a decent option considering how bad our red zone offense has been all season???

Lol
Y’all think the reason we suck on offense is because he’s not playing.

Our offense sucks so bad we have Jimmy graham on our team.
