Jerry Jones decided to follow the Loomis path. Trust the Process. Cowboys fans losing minds too.

huge difference between a guy with a ring and 3 consecutive 12 win seasons and dennis allen. dont be stupid.
mcarthy has 4 season with a losing record in 17 years as a head coach. dennis allen has 4 in 5 years.

Except every year since the days before Google the Cowboys have been picked to go to Superbowl.

Changing coaches every year doesn’t help. Players have to learn new standards, schemes, and plays that goes along with it. Not to mention major personnel shakeups. Unless it’s an Urban Meyer type situation, three years minimum…then you change. Ask the Panthers how they’re doing changing coaches like underwear.

That meets the qualifications for Loomis to hire after we are done with Carr.

He probably reached out to a few didn’t like what they wanted. Decided to run it back with McCarthy

well maybe he was smart enough to finally figure out the problem is him and not the players or coaches that do what he tells them to do

Not very relevant to the topic, but fun fact for the "New Dats" in this group

In 2000, McCarthy was hired as the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. That year, the Saints achieved a 10–6 regular season record, then won their first playoff game in the franchise's history and finished 10th overall in offense.

What are his options? Not a lot of enticing coaches out there.

He won the division that has a team that almost won the Super Bowl last year in it.

Remind me what has Allen won again?

McCarthy resume is the exact same as Sean Payton. I’ll take that right now over the perennial loser we have.

Loomis got a ring in the last 25 years . Jerry Jones got no ring yet gets superbowl talk each year . Dallas fans want a Superbowl. Saints fans are happy with Playoffs. That is the difference
