Well, your statement about Bush going down on first contact is patently false, especially when you look at game film...

That's we're on the same page.

I was making fun of the other guy's "if" comment.

Here's the biggest excuse, because it uses a lot of "ifs":

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

I knew what you were doing....I was reinforcing that....my reading comprehension leaves little to be desired, but I got that much...no excuses here.

Atlanta at NOLA, 2007. Tampa at NOLA, 2006. There are other games where he showed the ability to fight through tackles. Interesting enough, these were games where his knee wouldn't buckle on him. I've played through an injury very similar to his, and you really can't get through a lot of tackles with it.

Unless, of course, you start a statement with the word, "if".

Rudyard Kipling was a major excuse maker...

buy this year, throw the ball to him and if he has an all pro year, trade.

we need to get some draft picks back for this waste of a pick

Tigerguy121 at 3:45:

he has an all-pro year, how would he be a waste of a pick?

Your response a few posts down responds to AND quotes the SECOND post.

So you're completely wrong. Congrats on that.

Do you realize you left out the "If" at the beginning of the sentence. I responded to this by Tigerguy...

Why'd you feel the need to leave out "if"? It's the pivotal point of this whole schtick.

Dude, seriously? Did I hurt your feelings? I'm sorry. What's your beef with me anyway? Did I call you a fig or something in another thread? Get over yourself.

So, you called me names, questioned my intelligence, then I COMPLETELY proved you wrong, and you completely avoided it?

That's the TigerDroppings way I guess.

Just man up and admit you were wrong when you said you responded the FIRST guy that started the "what if" stuff, because I OBVIOUSLY proved you wrong there. Don't just ignore it.

Dude, you're a douche bag. You proved no one wrong. And instead of contributing you substracted. Way to go...
