Cutler, 41, was arrested on DUI and other charges following a minor traffic collision in downtown Franklin, the city's police spokesperson Max Winitz said. Police confirmed to CBS Chicago that Cutler offered the other driver $2,000 to not report the crash.

Seriously wonder why someone of his station wouldn’t simply have a properly documented weapon? Doesn’t seem too difficult.

Pretty sure that has nothing to do with it. It's an added charge if you're in possession of a handgun with dwi in most states, even if it's legally your gun.
