Sigh, Eagles are all in as well as the Seahawks.

We need to do something.

Feel we need a WR. I look at all the potential this team has and if we lose Michael Thomas to injury, passing game will be smothered.

Don’t get all hyped up over the Eagles. Look at the teams they’ve beat. They’ve had the 4th easiest schedule so far this season.

I hear you, but those wins bring confidence. Just look at our guys. We're not exactly 3 games head of ATL and CAR either. Our room for error is small.

Eagles are good, I wouldn't discount too much. Their front 7 is as good as anyone.

They are very good, 1st against run (yards per game).

In contrast, they are 26th against the pass.

However, they have beat Washington twice, Giants, Chargers, Cardinals, 49ers, and Carolina. I wouldn't exactly call them battle tested.

Why do we need to do something again? I don't think we have any holes that are big enough to overpay for an asset. Sounds like something reactionary a bad organization would do.

ETA: Oh, I just noticed this is the same op that wanted to trade for Ebron, I'll quietly walk away lmao

Also, lest we forget we got a 5 for Anthony. They got a 4 for Ajai. Ours looks like a steal now.

1) No one is suggesting overpaying for an asset.

2) Jimmy Graham, when we drafted him, was as raw as can be. He was coached up and became the superstar he is today. What makes you think Ebron cannot have that happen? I bet you were the person who would bitch when Jimmy would alligator arm passes.

3) We have a small window with Drew. If we can add a piece then we should. To pretend that our path to and hopefully in the playoffs did not get harder today is asinine.

Trading for the sake of making a move because others made a move, is a good way to get trade raped.

And because a guy who played one year of football coming into the league was made a viable pass catcher by the saints right off the bat; that means we should take a chance on a guy who played plenty of football before the NFL and has been in the NFL for 4 years, and sucks. Coby Fleener's stats are substantially better and more consistent than Ebron. JG is probably the weakest comparison you could possibly come up with; Ebron and JG have almost nothing in common.

Gotcha

i'm much more worried about the Eagles than the Seahawks. Hawks cant run for more than 25 rushing yards a game and their defense is giving up large numbers.

Eagles are scary even with a young QB under center.

You’re right but sometimes you just watch a team and can tell they’re good. That’s the Eagles. I mean look at who we’ve beaten. We don’t have too much room to talk.

Viking 6-2 L
Pats 6-2 L
Panthers 5-3 W
Dolphins 4-3 W
Lions 3-4 W
Packers 4-3 W
Bears 3-5 W

Not to mention 4 of the top 10 Defenses, 3-1 against.

Our wins look way better than theirs. Don't sleep on the Saints.

It's not just who we've beaten, but how we played all year. We played well vs vikings outside of two plays on Harris and offense looks different with armstead and 7 games for Ramcyzk.

New England curb stomped us though.

Eagles look good, but they also look beatable. Same with us to be fair.

We are now 5th in DVOA and 4th in weighted DVOA.

Don't sleep on us for sure!

Absolutely. But a the halfway point in the season, I don't think the Eagles are much better, if at all, than the Saints (or Vikings or Seahawks, for that matter).
