You don't think they would take Rodgers or Cousins over Carr?
They’ve been fawning over Rodgers for months, he still hasn’t signed with them and has been given every opportunity to.
Did you watch Cousins last year? He also has a no trade clause and Atlanta would take a huge hit trying to get out of that contract after one year.

And they have Will Howard who will get his chance at some point this year.
Yea I’m sure they are staking their teams future on a guy picked a round later than Rattler. Geez.
And the Steelers are very stupid, just for entertaining the thought of bringing in Rodgers.

They’re focused on the future
You don’t trade for DK Metcalf and try to get Rodgers if you focused on the future.

How is it staking their teams future?

We are staking more of our future into Shuck; and Howard has been an objectively better player so far in his career. Shuck doesn’t automatically become a better qb just because we decided to take him in the 2nd round

So now you agree? I must be confused because I thought you just said they should be interested in Carr but now they’re stupid for wanting Aaron Rodgers. Holy shite I must be in the twilight zone

Objectively every single team in the NFL thinks you are nuts.

Yea I bet the Steelers would love to roll out their playoff ready team with Mason Rudolph at qb instead of someone like Carr.
For the price, I think that's true.

how can Loomis still say Carr is the starter if Carr himself is unsure. Carr hasn't been putting in any work lately.
instead, there are these mixed messages thrown out there from Carr's camp and then NFL insiders.
it's a bunch of fricking foolishness.

in the same game he injured his left wrist.
Is that when he tried to superman over players for a first down instead of going out of bounds?

Let me break it down to you like I do everytime you say we paying Carr 150 million.
Steelers want Rodgers, it’s been widely reported. Rodgers wants Minny. They have lukewarm interest, (if you even want to call it that) im guessing depending on how JJ recovers. So Rodgers is dragging this shite out for attention like he does every year.
My opinion: teams are complete idiots for even trying to go after Rodgers. You are a complete idiot if you think Mason Rudolph is a better option than a healthy Carr if Rodgers turns them down and retires or goes to Minny or some other team that has a major injury at qb.
Does that clarify it for you?

I’m hoping Carr doesn’t play at all this year.
Him playing doesn’t help the team longterm.
It’s either Rattler or Shough.

IDGAF if he’s healthy or injured, I still don’t want to ever see him wearing a Saints uniform ever again. Just cut his arse and eat the stupid arse contract you have him Mickey and then doubled down on it and restructured when the guy didn’t even want to fricking be there! How Loomis still has his job should be a separate investigation in itself.
Carr is a cancer.
Addition through subtraction to get rid of him.

I’d take Chunky and Randy over Loomis ! They probably wouldn’t have been breathlessly chasing after DeShaun Watson like Loomis .
