What if Jameis is the ultimate trade bait? Injuries are going to happen and there you have Jameis sitting on the roster under $2 million.

Would be nice to parlay that into an extra 2nd round pick?

I agree.

I would also do the same with Cam Newton.

Exactly. His salary makes him extremely attractive.

We want 3 QBs and to get a hands on experience Famous Jameis to seenif he can replace Drew. I am a Taysom guy, but this was a good signing.

Saints signed a rapist and a thief. That is the story. I've lost all respect for the Saints. Started when they all decided to disrespect veterans, now this. Shameful.

So the man does us a solid and signs for nothing so he can learn under Brees and y’all want to do him dirty and ship him out first chance you get. Do that and you can forget about vet players signing with us on discount deals ever again. First thing agents will bring up. And at worse we will get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick if he signs a big money deal elsewhere after this year.

Why didn’t you jump off the bandwagon when Sharper got convicted? Or was he a different kind of “rapist”?

Are we going to go through this again?

Teams don't like trading for QBs mid season

I think the Saints would listen to any offer made and I think Jameis would be included in such conversations. If it's possible to parlay Jameis into a high round draft pick, they're going to entertain the idea at the very least, but they're not going to ruin their future player relationships doing it. At the very least, I am sure this has been discussed already by the saints with Jameis and his agent. A trade to the right team could be very attractive to Winston right nkw. These people aren't dumb.

You seemed confused by present and future knowledge. Sharper's felonious conduct was in the future I don't see how even you could hold the Saints office responsible for knowledge of his future behavior. Winston's character is present knowledge.
