Yeah and we've only heard good things???? The dude retired on his own. We didn't cut him due to bad play. It was literally looking like the complete opposite and me being correct.
Polk retired. The people saying "I'm right because he didn't MAKE the roster" are wrong. He was going to make the roster and get minutes. And we never added the imaginary vet WR.

"What they gave up" is different than their actual skill/ value. Teams actually "gave up" more for Polk because he was a 2nd/ 6th vs a 4th.
I'm not even disagreeing that Lance isn't/ won't end up better than Polk. Polk was going to get more snaps early and Lance chance was later in the season pending Polk.
The Lance comparison makes this funnier because when I argued Polk it was that he is WR4 with expectations to add 1 high draft WR. If we didn't draft Lance than Polk is WR4 uncontested with the current roster.

He won’t……he’s been dying on this hill since the offseason. There were SEVERAL of us in here that said some in here (and in the local media) needed to stop sunshine pumping for him.
Teams don’t give up on 2nd rounders the year after they draft them and trade them for a bag of balls. OBVIOUSLY the Pats knew what they were doing in shipping him off.
