I could see him going to a good team in rd 2 looking to add a wrinkle to their offense and if he develops past that…great. The Lions could afford that luxury

Yeah in PFF mock draft simulator he slides to the 4th regularly and he's certainly worth a gamble in the mid-late 2nd or 3rd. Top 10 with expectations of early starting is disaster material, though.

He is like Hurts, where he needs a solid organization who will simplify an offense and commit to it. The issue is Hurts is an manic worker, which covers for his deficiencies. Is Milroe?

I’d draft him to be a Taysom type weapon. As long as they don’t think he’s an actual quarterback I think he could be a pretty fun weapon on offense like prime Taysom.

If you think he's Hurts, you trade into the late first to get him. If you think he's Taysom, end 3rd round is about right. That's where you would probably draft a RB anyway

This board apparently thinks Milroe is a non QB.

Malik Willis is doing fine.

Milroe is way better that Malik Willis.

These takes are hilarious.

Id take him with one of our 7th rounders

Anthony Richardson, went 4th overall.

He is bigger than Milroe, but the comp is similar, and he had far less of a succesful college career.

Fair take except, if you think he’s Hurts, he’s better than a late first round pick. He won the Super Bowl.

The question is what teams are really thnking. Last year there were 3 sleeper qbs that were first rounders, Pennix/Nix especially.

This year Shedeur is no 2 and the rumor mill is going wild with smoke. From the 2nd pick to the second round.

And we are getting complete smoke/silence re: Dart/Milroe.

IMO Dart/Milroe could be going first round and no teams want to admit it hoping they drop.

Def could go in the second round.

The profile of a running QB, whether starter or backup is a clear fit with Milroe.

Malik Willis is a good ex of this current prototype - backup passer who can at least run/move the chains.

Any team that values a Hurts type player, likely wants Milroe as a starter, meaning he could go way higher than expected by this board.

A run style qb is still being overlooked by this board as a dominant nfl qb prototype. Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Hurts as if current are perfect examples. Cam Newton etc.

Anthony Richardson went 4th overall because of this. He has been (1) hurt and (2) a character question.

Milroe is NOT a character question also - dude is a dedicated workout warrior, and apparently great leader etc. Milroe could be great or he could be A Richardson, or Malik Willis.

All of which has more value than some posters are recognizing.

Not really. He had 8 TDs and 12 INTs with a sub 50% completion percentage last year and was benched. He was completely raw coming out of college and way over drafted. He’s bad.

Great, let him replace Taysom

He is nothing like taysom. Milroe isn't very physical and he doesn't make tacklers miss.

If replacing taysom was that easy every team would do it.

Well teach him how to become the next Randall Cobb, because he sucks as a QB.

Thats my point. Richardson’s stats are much worse than Milroe in college.

Milroe had over 30 tds last year.

And Richardson was drafted 4th overall.

Pennix/Nix were predicted 2nd rounders who top ten/fifteen.

And you believe Richardson was worth being taken there? All that proves is that some coaches & GMs are just as stupid or even more stupid than the average fan. It was a complete waste of a high draft pick that is supposed to produce an elite prospect for an organization. The Richardson pick was terrible & you should be embarrassed for even using this as an example.

Milroe caused a split in the Bama locker room with his arrogance, selfish attitude & refusal to improve on the flaws in his game his last 2 seasons. It's also rumored that Milroe was one of the player's who lead to Saban’s retirement because he was more concerned with how to make more NIL over how to improve his play after their loss in the semifinals to Michigan.

Youre a dumbass. The example is that is can and does happen often. What do you not get?

Did I say I wanted the Saints to draft Milroe?

And if they did do you think KM is stupid???????

Stfu idiot.
