One more infraction from an automatic one year suspension. Seems a tad bit too risky to me.

EDIT: actually, at least two years.

I'll take Sterling Moore. Always thought Collins was one of our weakest DBs at LSU. Couldn't ever find the ball in the air.

He was suspended 10 games to start the season, he hasn't seen the field yet.

They probably had enough of his unavailability.

I was really hoping Breaux was ready to go when he came back and disappointed when he still wasn't healthy, and now finished for the season. Breaux before that serious injury looked to be coming into his own and playing at a Pro bowl level last season. Now he may never get back to that, and that's sad because the Saints finally could have had two outstanding CB's, but Crawley has been doing a serviceable job.

Only reason they did not cut him before is because of how well he played down the stretch including the Superbowl.

But the bar he has to clear is Devante Harris.

I was down on Crawley as much as anyone last year. But as a #2 to Lattimore, he's played exceptionally well this year. I'm not sure I can count on him as a #1 week to week because as everyone saw, we had some pretty serious busts across the board last week.

I'm still holding out a glimmer of hope Breaux could make a late return for the playoffs. I really hate that isn't healthy because he, Lattimore, Crawley, and Williams as a dime package would be fantastic.

Fair enough. Everyone is better than Harris. However, Moore > Collins by a mile

Honestly, it's doesn't really matter. Probably best to just keep the secondary together for continuity reasons.

I agree, as a dime package they would have been outstanding. I just wanted to see Breaux play with Lattimore when he attempted to come back a couple of weeks ago because I know if he had got back to that previous level, it would have fun to watch them shut down WR's around the leaugue. I couldn't believe they had people on here saying Breaux would have been a nickel when he came back because he's not as good as Crawley. Lmao I was like wtf! What happened to Moore? Did they just cut him outright??
