Welcome to the week 2 preseason game thread

Sorry for the complete shortness of last week's thread as I was attending a family event during the game and couldn't do a good write up

I'll try to do better today... will be back to my full write-ups for the regular season

The big thing to look for tonight...

Jameis Winston's turn to start. I expect the flip from last week with Jameis to start, Taysom to work the 2nd quarter, and Book to finish the game out. CSP said he would do that before last week's game when he announced Taysom the started for the Ravens game.

No more turnovers please. After last week's 3 interception, 3 lost fumbles performance by the offense... things must be cleaned up. All 3 QBs threw 1 INT each (which granted you could say the WRs let their QBs down on all 3)... and all 3 RBs used coughed it up once. No more of that please

Defense continue to perform. Absolutely understood that there was no Lamar Jackson last week, but the defense did very well to keep the Saints in position to win the game despite the offense's desires to turn it into a Raven rout thanks to all the turnovers. More continued success here please

Who Dat Kicker? As the Saints try to cope with the loss of Will Lutz to a muscle injury, Brett Maher went down as well. In comes Aldrick Rosas (wearing Morstead's #6) to try to fill the gap for a bit. He apparently didn't fair well in practice at the end of last week... so this may be a bit of a revolving door situation for a bit.

Saints will be in white jerseys at home tonight as the Jags have already put out there that they will be in their teal jerseys tonight. Hopefully white & gold for the Saints again tonight.
