He wasn’t in a pro offense, it was read option hurry up gadget bullshite so defense cannot change players. This is the NFL, He did that college offense for 3 years. We don’t want to see if he can or cannot run CM offense easy pass on Dart.

LOL - he dominated Senior Bowl week/game in a pro style offense. Stop it. Most colleges run gimmicky offenses.

You can say the same about Daniels and Nix but they are both off to the great starts to their careers.

I hope they do draft him. I really believe he could be the future at QB for the saints for a long time. He definitely worth taking a shot on.

I will not even watch this team next year if they waste their 1st on Dart. That's an absolutely HORRIBLE draft pick of desperation at that point. He will never do anything in the NFL. Anyone with eyes could see that at the college level. Unbelievably average QB who fit well in a Kiffin system and never seemed to play well against a defense with a pulse...at the college level.

You’re so much more knowledgeable than Gruden and Kiper.

You’re quite literally the only person to watch Dart “quite a bit”

Some retarded lsu fans in here. It’s okay to swallow your pride. I don’t mind us taking lsu players if they’re good. Guess I’m just built different.

Damn, I forgot elite QBs never throw bad balls. If only Peyton Manning threw bad throws, the Saints would have a Super Bowl...oh wait...

First off, there is nothing about Dart or his play at Ole Miss that places him in the elite category.

Secondly, I posted concerns about Dart from a draft analysis so no, it's not just retarded LSU fans like you say. Every draft season brings about unrealistic & irrational feelings by fans about certain prospects.

The most frustrating part of posting during draft season is that people lose all objectivity from the over saturation of praise for every prospect that's coming out by the television media, social media, message boards & so called "internet draft experts" . Every prospect gets placed on a "pedestal" as the next great thing. Real concerns & flaws of players get pushed to the side & overlooked.

Fans develop irrational bias positively or negatively with certain players. It becomes a yearly occurrence & its happening right here with Jaxson Dart. There's nothing incorrect from my previous post of that draft analysis that addresses issues & concerns about what Dart showed on film at Ole Miss & those concerns could possibly translate at the NFL level.

ironically the stuff you posted is the exact same material you’re mocking. Just the other side of the fence.

No one is mocking anything. It's called perspective which completely goes out of the window every year at this time. Not one person who hypes Dart in this draft class ever wants to discuss the fact that Ole Miss runs a hyper uptempo, no huddle offense nor do they want to discuss how that style of offense inflates & distorts Darts actual numbers.

No talk of how the hurry up, no huddle wears down defensive lineman ultimately neutralizing a pass rush allowing more time to throw. You second that with corners having chase WRs play after play & adds up to having a negative effect on defenders both mentally & physically. Not to mention it also effects a secondary's ability to communicate & adjust pre snap. No SEC offense benefited more from blow coverages than Jaxson Dart & Ole Miss. There's an example in this video against Bama from 2023 where the Tide secondary is in man yet CB Terrion Arnold who gives up the long completion gets confused & plays zone instead allowing Dayton Wade to run free across the middle. (Play breakdown is at the 11:00 mark)

You can also add 2022 LSU to that list which was the game that put Harold Perkins on the map. 2022 Bama when Dart failed to get Ole Miss into the endzone after getting down to the Bama 14 yard line in the final minute. 2022 Miss St. where Dart failed to convert the 2 point attempt to tie the game with just over a minute remaining in the game. (The TD pass to Dayton Wade the play before was another example of a busted coverage where the CB played zone yet the rest of the secondary was in man.) Then there were two games where Dart completely shite the bed on the road. 2022 at Arkansas & 2023 at Georgia.

At LSU & at Florida as well as at home against a bad Kentucky team in 2024. All 3 games were losses. I didn't mention them in my post because it was discussed in the screenshot I posted. Well at least 2024 at Florida was mentioned. The second halves of 2022 & 2024 in Tiger Stadium were almost mirror images of each other where Dart struggled determining where blitzes were coming from as well as struggling to know what & where his hot routes were.

Only impressive team on that list is Oklahoma. They were actually solid defensively last season.

LSU defense was respectable yet not great by any means. Mississippi St. was arse.
