It’s also playcalling. They were trying too many deep breaking routes because of Winston’s arm strength. Short routes will hide a lot of holes on your line

it’s not playcalling. Jameis can’t read the quick stuff. Do you think with our O-line issues, we’ve been saying “to hell with it, let’s do slow developing deep stuff anyway?”.
No, watch Jameis last year and this year. When he’s in, you can do basic A gap blitzes and he can’t even pick it up. I could do that shite in Madden when I was 9.

Winston can not properly read defenses to succeed at this level. Never has been able to and this is his 8th season in the NFL.
