Is Carr shopping for houses in Metairie yet via someone’s real estate agent sister?

rebuild.

stop pretending like Payton is still here and we only need a few players to be a contender.

Not Carr.

do Ya think he's going to settle for a hometown discount.?

that's just the money side too.

why pay up so high for a guy that's never won a playoff game and pair him with Doofus Allen who has never had a winning season as a head coach.

yeah, that's the fricking ticket!

So tell me who’s better for a rebuild, you still haven’t answered anything other than not Carr.

If we blew it with dinner, why did he come back to the facility the next day?

Well the fanbase says he’s the savior and at least, what, 3-4x as good as Brees.

I have it on good authority that Carr took that to heart and wants to save the city too while taking the Saints to 10 straight Super Bowls. So he’s looking around the 9th Ward for a crib.

I would take a cheaper free agent or even draft a guy in the draft.

I think Carr will cost more than the Saints should spend up for.

and if you sign Carr, for how long and how much?

all legitimate questions for a team that continues to keep running up a high credit card bill so to speak.

I'm not saying Carr wouldn't be a good QB in the right situation nor can I predict that the Saints are not the right situation for that to happen but spending big money on a QB right now IMO isn't the right move.

IMO the best thing that can happen is for a bidding war to start and cooler head prevail in NOLA and we let him sign somewhere else and refocus on the priority of fixing this team the right way instead of bandaids, gubble gum and kicking the cap can down the road.

But if Carr does sign with the Saints I hope it's a modest prove it contract that allows the team to have more than just him and a bunch of dead money.

I’d sign Carr if possible to a 5 year deal, no qb in this draft or the next and possibly the next will be a generational type so tanking and pissing your fan base off even further and risking a ton of revenue losses simply by fans not showing up is not worth it. Carr would at least have us in contention and he has weapons here to work with. A cheaper free agent will just net you the same results as this year or worse. Qb salaries have went up mid tier guys get 30s that is just the nature of the business.

I'd be much happier playing Carr 2x a year while he quarterbacked the Falcons or Panthers or Bucs than I would having him quarterback the Saints.

He’s not coming here.
He would have accepted the trade.
