No but that's probably what Roger would do if we signed him.

The NFL did make a statement a while back that he could be put on exempt list if placed on a team, depending on where the investigation is at. So I would think they’d screw the Saints for sure.

The league has 0 incentive to end this investigation.

we are in a win now mindset. The front office knows Drew's career is coming to an end soon.

I don't think it's completely insane to think that Sunday could be Drew's last regular season game.

I don't think it will be... I think he has another season or two left in the tank... but it wouldn't totally shock me either if he walked away after this season.

The Saints have the best WR on their roster. Theres a reason no one else has tried to sign him.

Dude I don't even care. If he acts like an a-hole they can cut him... hopefully, if they have to, it's right after we secure the win in the NFC Championship. I'm ok with just Michael Thomas and two full weeks of game preparation for Sean Payton.

That’s because you’re an irrational fan. As are we all. We don’t have to worry about money or chemistry or distractions or the league. CSP does. AB is big trouble. I’d rather bring in broken down Dez Bryant than bring an uncontrollable circus to town.

“As long as Mr. Brown is a free agent, placement on the Commissioner’s exempt list is not appropriate. If he is signed by a club, such placement may become appropriate at any time depending on the status of the investigation. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, he may also be subject to discipline if the investigation finds that he has violated the law or league policies.”

Knowing how Roger and his clownshow organization operates, their investigation would conveniently “end” the day after the Super Bowl

Well the fact that he is in working out shows that CSP and the front office disagree with you

AB is making a mistake if he signs with the Saints. With the disdain the league has for both the Saints and AB, he may never touch a football again.

I’m also told this is not believed to be related to Michael Thomas’ hand injury, which has had him limited in practice this week. The Saints are thin at WR even beyond Thomas. No other WR has more than 29 catches and they just placed Krishawn Hogan on IR this week.

I doubt going the distance with this is actually possible given the circumstances and Goodell’s disdain for both the Saints and AB.

But how sweet would it be to not only watch that frickwad have to hand the Lombardi to Payton, but for AB to be standing there with him. Karma bitch

Then why not just put him on the exempt list to begin with so it ends any speculation. The NFL is so fricking stupid sometimes

One of the bigger pieces of insight I've learned through this news is the lack of knowledge (I know) from national pundits. On Good Morning Football, they were all saying they view the Saints as a Super Bowl team and don't understand the need for Brown. Um, do they not understand we clearly have no #2 WR threat?

If the league put him on the exempt list, I’d immediately go to court and sue. They’d be trying to essentially suspend him for exposing a hoe for trying to extort him. He has rights too...
