IMO, they should not have the option to sell for profit, the tickets are in your name, you sold them for face value under the assumption they would use the tickets to go to the game, not re-sell for prifot.

This.

My wife and I split tix w/ someone else ..... would never think of selling. When you split, you only get 4 Reg season home games any way. Why would you want to give one up?

Must be bandwagoners........

Section 122 and I think they are asking between 400-500.

if i had tickets, i would probably sell them bitches too. But I wouldn't do that with that kind of setup behind a friend's back.

dude, once you agreed to this set up, you gave up your right to bitch about what they do with the tix they are awarded in this arrangement.

Quit being a ctybaby.

Yeah...unless there was some sort of agreement prior not to sell them I don't see what the problem is. It's their tickets and they chose what to do with them.

They way you explained it they have their half, you have your half. What either does with their tickets is none of the others business.

They should at least have to split the money they get from the tickets with you 50/50.

+1

I can understand your anger, but it's really not any of your business what they do with their tickets. There was no written agreement about not selling the tickets so its whatever your friends want to do with them.

They sell it to some jackass who acts a fool with his tickets, the saints have the right to revoke his season tickets right? It is his fricking business.

It's their tickets. They can do whatever they want with them.

Feel free to be pissed though.

A possible option is both couples will split the proceeds of any tickets which are sold.

The only reason to be pissed IMO is that if they sell them to someone who acts like an arse, then you could lose your season tickets....therefore it is your business. So you should have a say so on who is getting those tickets, approve of them, and in the future, come to an agreement that you split profit made on any tickets.

That's total bullshite - and if they do end up selling them then you should demand half the profits. They're basically taking money from you otherwise.

Just because the tickets are under their name doesn't mean it solely his. It was their decision to go 50/50, the other couple has 50% ownership which means they can do whatever the frick they want with their tickets. His best bet is to ask for half of the money. You can say that their tickets might be at risk if sold to some douche, but that is an "if" and it's like saying well I might get into a car accident today so I'd better not drive.

im not buying losing season ticket rights. if they sell them thru ticketexchange, which I am sure that they will, what can the team do to you for selling them on a league sponsored website? obviously you cant control who buys the tickets in that situation.

The only thing about this that is dick if they did not offer them to you first. Other than that, it is pretty much for them to do with them as they like. Now, I would be super pissed if they did not offer me to buy them back.

I think he basically has the right to do what he wants to do with them but the proper thing for him to do would have been to ask you to buy them first. Clearly obvious he is selling them above face value probably to make up his money to afford the tickets for next year. Start saving your money now and cut him out of the picture next year.
