If you were the Saints OC, what would be your short-yardage offensive set be?

Spread the defense out: 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/FB with Taysom at QB.
Run RPOs with Taysom.

If our run blocking can improve and we get an RB besides Taysom going I would be running it nonstop. It's just not gonna work with our pass blocking and trying to throw it in right now.

I'd like to see a set where Taysom is the TE in that package, with Kamara as the RB, where Kamara is motioned out wide with the WRs and then Taysom is motioned into the backfield as the RB

IMO, if we are inside the 20, Taysom should not ever come out. He can line up at QB, RB, HB, TE or WR. He is literally the definition of a mismatch that the defense has to always account for.

I’d have all the 3 tight ends in, with Jimmy G spread out wide, with one rb and the fb in with Taysom. Just pound it in with Taysom or run play action and throw it up to Jimmy g or on a slant if a small corner is on him.

I would run an I-Formation. Prentice was great last week. I imagine we could get a couple of yards for a first down with him as lead blocker.
