Panthers fans sounds even MORE down on their team-- Everyone saying they have 0% chance of winning next week and their offense is worst ever and Can needs to be drug tested etc. I feel better already just perusing their site lol. In all seriousness though it does show how every fan base is prone to overreaction.

I wonder what the statistics are on one nfl team beating another 3 times in one season? I’d imagine it hasn’t been done a whole lot of times.

Since 1990, the team that won the first two is 11-5. And id be willing to bet none of those 5 had a 12th man like we'll have Sunday.

I do like that we've won both pretty decisively, as I think it does give an indication that we are the better team. Or at least, we have the better matchups.
I also think today's game will play into Payton's hands: we torched Tampa earlier in the season, you can't take anything for granted now. And it's clear that we had a lot of sloppy play today, I can only hope the team responds and cleans that up. Defense flat out got embarrassed other than the takeaways, that might sting their pride.
