If you had a time machine, would you interfere with the play even if it meant jail time?

You realize that's exactly the kind of situation the mythical 'Rule 17' is designed to combat, right?

No, but I WOULD be making bank betting on everything from the Ram’s win down to the 2 coin tosses.

If I were closer to the field and knew what the end result of the game would be I'd have jumped on the field. You get enough fans on the field they'd have to postpone the game for a little while, maybe then they'd realize the only way to get control of the situation is to, you know, fix their mistake.

I would go to Woodstock between August 15–18, 1969.

I would bring high grade antibiotics with me and forget the condoms.

First regular season game next year, everyone in the Dome brings a yellow towel. At the end of the first play, every fan tosses them on the field at once.

Why would I be going to jail? I've got a time machine!

This happened at the Dome, only with white towels given to fans at the game when the play happened. 25,000 white towels rained down from all over the stadium, many reaching the bench area of the field (everyone on the field was aware of it).

The fans threw their souvenir towels like flags when the refs failed to throw real flags.

It was pretty awesome. It's tragic they didn't show that on TV.

I’m the guy that went back and paid off the ref!
Go Rams!

PS.. been to the future too.. you never get a time machine.... but there is a big surprise headed your way soon. The look on your face when this thing happens! Ha! Priceless.

Sorry, I was there and this makes for a great story, but there wasn’t anywhere close to that many towels being thrown. Nice try NBC News

Lol no. The saints winning an nfc title isn’t going to support my wife and three kids baw. As much as it hurts it’s still a game played by millionaires.
