Didn't win enough, couldn't stay healthy, and his contract extended our cap hell from the Brees era which kept us from pursuing FA. He and his contract are also why Loomis went all-in and gave away picks for Penning and Olave to try to get two cheap players at crucial positions to make Carr successful (didn't work).

Even then we tried.

We went out and got Keenan Lewis, Jairus Byrd, and Delvin Breaux. Would have been a great secondary if they could see the field.
